Steve Hilton Launches Ad Urging State Workers to Expose Fraud Inside California Government
SACRAMENTO, CA – After a multi-billion-dollar fraud scandal erupted in Minnesota’s social services system, Steve Hilton warned that California’s enormous budget and one-party bureaucracy have created an environment where corruption is not an exception but a predictable outcome.
Hilton said what happened in Minnesota mirrors the deeper corruption that has taken root in California, where the state acknowledged more than 20 billion dollars in fraudulent EDD payments, including funds sent to criminal networks and even death row inmates. California spends more than any state on social programs, yet operates with almost no real oversight. That is why Hilton is now directing a new message to the people who see this corruption up close: state workers.
Capitol Weekly is now running a new ad urging state employees to expose the fraud and waste under California’s one-party rule. The ad directs workers to an anonymous portal: Califraud.com.
“There are thousands of state workers who see what is happening every day. They want accountability, but their political masters want silence. Califraud.com gives them a voice,” Hilton said.
The ad follows Hilton’s letter to Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem requesting a federal review of California-linked immigration fraud after revelations that half of Minnesota’s visa applications were fraudulent.
