Steve Hilton the Frontrunner in the California Governor’s Race

“The latest Emerson poll confirms what we’re seeing on the ground at our Town Halls up and down the state, with thousands of people just in the last month or so coming out to ask questions and join our movement for change. It’s the same reaction you saw in the first TV debate: when people see the clear contrast between 16 years of Democrat one party rule that have given us the highest poverty, highest unemployment and highest cost of living in America – and Steve Hilton’s positive, practical ‘Califordable’ plan: $3.00 gas, cutting electric bills in half, your first $100 grand tax free, a home you can afford to buy, Steve’s message wins hands down.

“Californians can see that it’s time for an outsider to shake up a system that obviously isn’t working. We’re building the only Republican campaign that can unite the party, bring in independents, and beat the Democrat machine in November. 

“But there is a real danger that other Republican campaigns act as a spoiler, splitting the vote to allow two Democrats into the top two. That would be a total disaster, ending our chance for change in California. So now is the time for other Republicans to unite behind the Golden Ticket: Steve Hilton and his running mates Gloria Romero for Lieutenant Governor, Michael Gates for Attorney General, and Herb Morgan for State Controller.
